He is well aware of what his employees are going through and what they need. The New York-based bulk delivery company is more like a close-knit family than a faceless, soulless corporation.
The benefits the company provides its employees are the kind most of us dream about. Some of these insane benefits include the payment of college tuition for the children of employees, and unlimited maternity and paternity leave for new parents. Huang’s generosity stems from his own personal experiences growing up with working class parents, who had emigrated from Taiwan. He realizes the importance of providing opportunities for people to change their lives for the better. This is one CEO who is taking steps to level the huge income gap that is evident in today’s economy. So, when Huang heard about what one of his hardest working employees, Marcel Graham, was going through, he stepped up and decided to lend a hand.Â
