People Are Sharing The TV And Movie Parents They HATED Growing Up But Now Think Were Right All Along, And It’s Making Me Realize We’ve All Grown Up

TV And Movie Parents We Once Hated, But Now Realize Were Right

When we were kids, some TV and movie parents seemed so unfair. But looking back, it turns out they were just trying to do the right thing. Here are some parents that we once disliked but now totally understand.

1. Marlin from Finding Nemo

Marlin was super overprotective of Nemo, and as kids, we thought he was just a worrywart. But now, we get it. He had lost his wife and most of his kids to a predator. No wonder he was so cautious!

2. Danny Tanner from Full House

Danny was always cleaning and enforcing rules, which seemed annoying when we were younger. But now, we see he was just trying to keep everything together for his three daughters after losing his wife.

3. Mrs. George from Mean Girls

As kids, we thought Regina’s mom was cool with her “I’m not a regular mom; I’m a cool mom” attitude. But now, we realize that she was more interested in being liked by her daughter than actually parenting her.

4. Red Forman from That ’70s Show

Red was tough and often seemed harsh, especially with Eric. But as adults, we see he only wanted his son to grow up responsible and strong. His strictness came from a place of love.

5. Mufasa from The Lion King

We all cried when Mufasa died, but before that, some thought he was too hard on Simba. Now, we understand he was preparing Simba for the real world and teaching him valuable lessons about responsibility.

6. Helen Parr from The Incredibles

Helen, also known as Elastigirl, seemed overbearing with her rules, but she was just trying to keep her family safe. Her experience and wisdom were what held the family together.

7. Mr. Feeny from Boy Meets World

Mr. Feeny always seemed to be giving lectures and life lessons, which felt boring back then. But now, we appreciate his wisdom and how much he cared about his students’ futures.

These characters remind us that parenting is tough and often misunderstood by kids. As we grow up, we start to see the bigger picture and understand the reasons behind their actions. So, here’s to the TV and movie parents who were right all along!
