While Franta might first be known as a YouTuber, but he also has 3.9 million Instagram followers, and he doesnt follow the typical celebrity Instagram format of simply taking pictures of himself.

He shouts out a few apps he uses in his processVSCOcam, Afterlight, andFacetuneand gets as specific as particular filters he prefers. Frantas tutorial focuses on the fun of Instagram, with ways for an everyday user to turn into a amateur digital photographer.
Franta isn’t the only one pulling back the veil on how social media visuals are constructed this week. Essena ONeill, a teen Instagrammer who quit the platform began editing her captions to reveal the truth behind her mental state and the staged and branded photos shes posted over the years.
