In case you haven’t heard, May is Mental Health Awareness Month.

For that reason, we’re spending the entire week talking about ways to get happier — whether it’s through meditation, yoga or healing your broken heart.

Naturally, I had to consult a psychotherapist, so Igot in touch with Jennifer Silvershein, LMSW. With a little help from our readers, I grilled her about everything from how to be happier in your relationship and get out of a funk to what social media does to your happiness and how you can feel more confident in your skin.

Since I really want youto watch it (right here), I’m not going to give the whole thing away.

But, just so you can get a taste of the conversation to come, if you’re struggling with feeling happy in your relationship, Silvershein suggests doing something little for your SO every day.

It’s always nice to know your boyfriend or girlfriend is thinking about you, whether it’s a random “I love you” or an “I’m thinking about you” in the middle of your busy day.
