Mark Zuckerberg’s eyes: blank slate or window into a soul in chaos?

On Tuesday, Mark Zuckerberg answered questions before the Senate about how Facebook went from a fun ‘n flirty social network for college students to a data-collecting behemoth and tool of political manipulation. No biggie!

For Zuck, it looks like his first visit to Capitol Hill was quite the emotional journey. Here’s what (it certainly looks like) he went through.

“OK, Mark. You got this buddy. You’re just a guy, talking to some other guys, about some stuff. It’s NBD! Pretty low key, actually. Pretty chill. A few people will notice that I’m here, at most.”

“Whoa, uh. Did it just get a little warm in here? Oh, hi, sure, come on in.”

“Fuck.”

“I am happy to be here. I am happy to be here. I am happy to answer all of your questions as clearly and transparently… oh my god there are so many people here.”

“I have to listen to HOW MANY old people yell at me for HOW LONG?”

“Did you just say… ‘handheld devices’?”

“HOkkkkay here we go.”

“Hello world. It’s me, Mark.”

“I’m sorry. (I swear).”

“Wait, da heck did you just ask me?”

“You guys have heard that I started Facebook in my dorm, right?”

“We run ads. Any questions?”

“Oh.”
