Fall is a great time to enjoy treats like apple pie and kettle corn, but why not surprise your friends and family with something a bit more unusual this season?

Recently, Instructables community manager Penolopy Bulnick shared a recipe that’s sure to delight everyone. Not only is it easy to make and beautiful, it’s also delicious!

To start, gather your ingredients. You’ll need 12 ounces of chocolate chips, a large block of white chocolate, two dehydrated apples, cinnamon, and cinnamon sugar.

You’ll also need wax paper, a baking sheet, a microwave-safe container, and measuring spoons.

Lay the wax paper on the baking sheet, then melt your chocolate chips in the microwave or on the stove. After it’s smooth with no lumps, spread it out. This will be the base of the bark.

Next, add your dehydrated apples. Penolopy laid out the large pieces first, then filled in gaps with smaller bits.

Now it’s time to melt your white chocolate and mix in some cinnamon with it. The recipe calls for one teaspoon or so of cinnamon per white chocolate square, but you can adjust to taste.

Drizzle the white chocolate and cinnamon over the chocolate and apple base, then sprinkle some cinnamon sugar on top. Place the concoction in the fridge to harden for two to three hours.
